Dear St. Thomas the Apostle Parish,
Merry Christmas! After four weeks of a beautiful Advent season in which we patiently prepared, we have arrived at the nativity of Jesus Christ, our infant Lord born into our world and our hearts. This birth marks the beginning of a 2,025-year journey of people seeking Jesus. The wise men seek him by following a star. The shepherds seek him in the darkness of night. And generations of believers seek him in the simplicity of a manger. Can’t we consider ourselves in that same category: seekers of Christ?
Dear seekers of Christ young and old, we know the truth is here in our midst. We hear his word and we receive his sacred Body and Blood in the holy Eucharist. May our community continue to be a reflection of the love of Christ in a world that is searching for meaning and truth, justice and peace.
On behalf of Mr. Adam Biggs our Principal, the parish staff, teachers, volunteers, and all who serve this community, please know of our gratitude for your presence, your prayers, and your commitment to seeking Christ together. May this Christmas season renew in each of us the joy of the Gospel and the confidence that Emmanuel, God with us, walks with us in every moment.
Merry Christmas, and may the peace of Christ dwell in your hearts and homes, now and throughout the New Year. Amen!
